Privacy Notice: Two Ways Personal Data Reaches This Site
Reading these pages asks nothing of you: there is no sign-up, no comment box and no payment form. Personal data can arrive by only two routes, the technical record that any web server keeps when a page is opened, and the e-mail you choose to send to the editor.
Each route, from arrival to deletion
| Route | What arrives | Passes to | Leaves when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Opening a page | IP address, browser type, page requested | The web host’s server records | 30 days after the visit, when the record is deleted |
| E-mail to the editor | Your address, any name you sign with, the message text | The e-mail service and the editor’s mailbox | Up to 12 months after the last message |
| A correction made after your message | The changed figure and its date, never your name | The page itself | Nothing to delete, as it holds no personal details |
The purpose of the first route is to deliver the page and keep the server secure; the second answers you and checks a reported error; the third shows that a figure was changed and when. For all three the lawful basis is legitimate interests in running an accurate and safe site. Server records are deleted after 30 days, so a visit made on 1 March is gone from them by 31 March, whereas an e-mail thread is kept for up to 12 months.
What happens between your message and a corrected page
The editor reads the message, checks the figure you raise against the page and, if a reply is useful, answers from the same address. If the message leads to a correction, the page is changed and shows the change, never your name or address. The thread is then kept for up to 12 months after the last message and deleted.
The clock restarts with every new message. A first e-mail sent on 3 March and a follow-up on 10 March is therefore deleted 12 months after 10 March, not after 3 March. A message that needs no reply is kept for the same period, so that a repeat report on the same figure can be matched with it.
Please include only what the correction needs. A figure can be fixed from a page name and a quoted number, so there is no reason to attach a passport scan, a bank statement or a screenshot showing card details or a login. If one arrives anyway, it is deleted unread.
The desk that answers for this data
The site is run by an independent editorial desk that has no connection with Godz Casino. For the data described above the desk is the controller under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and the editor named on the author page is the person who answers for it. Questions about this notice go to [email protected].
What your browser stores when you read a page
The pages do not require you to accept anything to be read. Any cookie that the site or its hosting sets is limited to what is needed to display the page and to count visits in aggregate. None of them stores your name, your e-mail address or anything about your gambling. If your browser lets you refuse cookies, the pages still load.
Who else can see your message
Only the editor has access to the editorial mailbox. Messages are not forwarded, copied into shared documents or used for marketing, and the site sends no newsletter, so there is no mailing list to join or leave. No decision about you is made by automated means, and nobody is profiled from the pages they read.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share your e-mail address with advertisers or other sites. The e-mail service and the web host act on our instructions as processors. If either stores data outside the United Kingdom, the transfer must be covered by an adequacy decision or equivalent safeguards, as UK law requires.
Asking to see, correct or erase what we hold
Under UK law you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its use and, where it applies, receive it in a portable form. Write to the editorial address from the address you want searched, and we will reply within one month. A search covers the mailbox thread and the correction entry linked to it, and nothing else, because the only other record is the server log, which holds an IP address, not a name, and is deleted after 30 days. To protect you, we may ask you to confirm the request by replying from that same address, but we do not ask for identity documents. A request to erase a thread is carried out in full, and the reply tells you when it was done. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office on 0303 123 1113 or at ico.org.uk.
Readers under 18
The pages discuss gambling and are written for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and a message that appears to come from a young person is deleted without a reply. A parent who learns that a child has written can use the same address to ask for the thread to be erased.
Effective date and later revisions
This notice applies from 10 October 2026. When it changes, the effective date changes with it, and the previous wording is not kept alongside the new one.
